Goodbye and Thank You

You’re off on an adventure,
You’re off to pastures new,
We hope that you’ll have lots of fun,
And find great things to do.
We’re very sad to say goodbye,
We’re sad to see you go,
Your time and care’s meant more to us,
Than I know how to show.
You helped us in the good times,
Helped us more when times were bad,
So now it’s time, to say goodbye,
We can’t help feeling sad.
You’ll be gone, but not forgotten,
Forever in the minds
Of two cheeky little girls,
To whom you’ve been so kind.
We’ll cherish all the memories,
We’ll think of you each day.
We hope that you’ll still keep in touch
Though you’ll be far away.

Thank you – she’s been absolutely wonderful – part of the family for 10 years and supporting the children for three and a half – a large chunk of your life when you’re going on five. No doubt we’ll keep in touch though and I look forward to hearing about her new adventures!

This is precious. A precious gift of words to a precious gift in your life who watched over your precious gifts. 🙂
