Grey Rainbow

He felt the eyes of others settle on his cheeks,
Red.
Tears filled and threatened to escape his eyes,
Blue.
He felt guilty, he felt sick, ashamed,
Green,
Because of things he’d said, because of things he’d seen,
Black.
He could not find the words he needed to explain,
Grey.
He wished the memories would vanish, disappear,
White.
He knew from this day on, that things would not be right,
Black.
But now he’d been there he could not go back.
Black.
Black.
Black.
