Calm Waters

As she stepped into the foamy waters,
Her worries began to wash away.
The fast beating of her heart slowed,
As did her racing head.
She wrapped herself in a blanket of bubbles
And locked the world away.
A cocoon of rose- scented tranquility
Gave her the strength
To manage another hour.

  1. Some lovely images conjured up in your poem, I especially like the picture of a cocoon of rose scented tranquility. I find that there’s nothing as comforting as a soak in a warm scented bath, its so very relaxing and therapeutic.
