Little Legs

With small legs
And big heart,
She eyed up the wall,
To climb
Was to fall
She surmised..
But she climbed.
Then, she fell,
(She fell very well)
Then she climbed up again
And she smiled.
As she neared the top,
She was tempted to stop
And look down
To see how far she’d come.
But she knew
That the view
Would look better by far
From the pinnacle height
She’d soon reach,
So with all of her might
And in spite of her fright,
She hung on
Clung on
To the top,
And when she was there,
With no longer a care,
She looked out
At the world,
She could stop.
