Remembering [Haiku]

Soft scented roses
Share memories on the breeze
Never forgotten.

Today marked ten years since I lost my grandmother. I visited her rose at the crematorium today. I like to think she’d be pleased that my grandpa’s funeral will fall ten years, to the day, after hers.

There is a comfort in symmetry. My parents left me within two years of each other with a couple of days apart. It makes that time of year hard but very special xx
