Bedtime Tears

I dry your tears,
And yet they fall;
I don’t have hands to catch them all.

From where they come,
I do not know;
So sad, my darling,
Why so low?

Your words
Are not enough to share,
The pain that I can feel is there.

Instead your tears
Are all that show
A head and heart
Besieged with woe.

I can’t fix
What I don’t understand,
But I can stay
And hold your hand.

    Aww. This is beautiful. And at times that’s all we want, someone to be there and hold our hand.
