Happy-Go-Lucky

He saw extraordinary
In the ordinary,
Beauty where others saw none.
And sometimes he heard the most beautiful songs,
But he was the only one.
He saw special
Where others saw normal,
He felt love
At times other despaired,
And at times when his friends thought things broken,
He just saw things that he could repair.
And so through these rose-tinted glasses,
He saw life around him each day.
It made each day feel good,
And he loved that he could
Help his friends to see life the same way.
