Whispered Prayer

Your whispered prayers float silently
Upon the wind each night,
Carried for eternity
Beneath the pale moonlight.
You close your eyes
And wish so hard
For your prayers to come true.
I don’t know what you’re wishing for
But I hope they come true too.
