Lullaby

Close your eyes and rest your mind,
And dream of all the ways you’ll find
To make tomorrow full of fun
It’s time to sleep now, little one.

Close your eyes and settle down,
Dream of smiles and lose your frown;
Leave your worries, it’s day’s end,
It’s time to join your dream friends.

Close your eyes and breathe so deep,
And welcome the warm hug of sleep.
It’s dark outside, the stars shine bright,
It’s time to sleep until it’s light.

  2. Beautiful, to sleep is so restorative and the young sleep with such beautiful abandon. You called both to mind. Hope you are well, hugs.
