Finite Time

All the time in the world
Would not be enough
She thought.
She would always want more time,
Time she would not, could not, have.
She oscillated between a desperate desire
To squeeze the life out of every minute
And wanting to give up on life altogether
Hounded by the knowledge
Of the finiteness of time.
