Safe Travels

Breathing deeply
She took
The final steps
To safety,
Steps away
From temptation
And harm.
She let comforting arms
Engulf her,
And soothing words
Fill her mind,
Muffling those
Of her would be destroyer.
Today
She journeyed safe.
