Hollows

Hollows where hollows should not be
Collect rainwater
Shower water
Tears
Everyone looks at those hollows
In horror
But they bring me solace.
That little pool of water,
Of tears,
Helps to calm
The voices
Who coax the growing
Of those hollows.

I fear my hollows
Will recede.
They must,
Or I will be lost.
But
They calm me so.
