Perhaps it was a sideways glance
And not a full-faced stare,
But the fact is that your prejudice
Was very clearly there.
It’s in the way you stepped aside,
Too far, to let me pass,
Even with the smallest step,
Acceptance becomes farce.
Until the day the way you act
Shines through in what you do,
People like myself
Will still be scared of folk like you.
Unfortunately prejudice is still abound. It is good at least to hear the voices who are not content to follow that path. Great poem.

Well put, its sad that there is still prejudice and hard to accept when faced with it.
