You shocked me with your words today,
I felt there was nothing I could say
That lived up to
The path you paved,
With words so powerful, they’re engraved
Upon my heart
And in my mind,
I admire the courage
And strength you find
To live each day,
As if your last,
Whilst moving forwards
From your past.
