Making Memories

We’ll make memories,
You and me,
Hold my hand
And come and see.
Everything we say or do
Will make a memory anew.

Some will be funny,
Some will be sweet,
Some will be sad
And some we won’t beat.

We’ll weave a rich tapestry
As we rub along,
Making new memories,
Singing new songs.

The things we’ll remember,
When we’re old and grey,
Will be things that are now
Just a part of each day.

When we look back
On these years,
You and I,
We’ll smile with fond memories
Of good times gone by.
