How do I know if he loves me?

What he says is so nice,
But I need some advice,
Do I follow my heart?
Do I follow my head?
It’s not easy to know what to say,

If you follow your head that’s the end

Could be wrong from the start,
And a difficult route to defend.

Take it slowly and first get to know him.
And see if he’s happy to wait.
If he is,
Then I’d say,
(And I’d hope and I’d pray)
That he really does think that you’re great.
