Hopes for One Hundred

She’s done this
And done that
And the other.
She’s a wife
And a mum
And grandmother.
She’s learned stuff,
And taught stuff,
And wrote
Even more stuff,
And she’s currently
Writing another.
But none of that matters,
Not really,
She’s world famous,
Of course,
Or quite nearly,
But above all you’ll find,
She’s incredibly kind,
And she listens,
And gives her love freely.

Today’s prompt is to write a poem which could be read at your own 100th birthday. This poem shares a little about the impression I hope to make over the next 68 and a half years…
