Have you ever stopped to wonder,
How different life would be,
If you’d found yourself another
And you hadn’t married me?
Would you live inside a different house,
With different dogs and cats?
Would your children be quite different too?
(They might be little brats…)
Would you work in different industry?
Hang out with different folk?
Would you go on different holidays
Be filthy rich or stony broke?
Who knows what life would be like
If we’d never met that day,
I’m glad I didn’t find out.
Do you feel the same way?
I hope your hubby liked this poem–what an honor! Nice job, Pooky,

I hope so too though he’s yet to read it…

A short poem that asks a big question. I’ve never met your Tom, but I’m guessing he’s rather pleased too.
Now I’ll spend the day thinking about the night I met my husband. 🙂

A scary question, too, sometimes! I’m getting in early to wish you a very Happy day 😉 (It’s 31 October where I am!).

I’ve only ever managed it once. I’ve still never edited it as I never wanted to see it again once December came around…

*sobs* Because of school I had to stop, but I’m still writing. Basically I’m taking the character names and changing everything else.

Your school made you stop?

No, I stopped myself, because I just can’t commit at the moment. I haven’t stopped writing the story though. Because it is amazing.

In which case I can’t wait to read it!

Good one Pooky, and we now want to know the answer to the question.

Me too! I don’t think that Tom has read this yet (our data allowance was very low whilst we were in Spain but I hope he’ll come back to it at some point).

Though I’m fairly confident in what his answer will be…

So many decisions, so many branches in life’s path. But agonizing over making a decision stalls your life – decisions are crucial to progressing.
This was a great thought provoker!

I often wonder about this; pointless though it is!
