Dear Husband

Have you ever stopped to wonder,
How different life would be,
If you’d found yourself another
And you hadn’t married me?

Would you live inside a different house,
With different dogs and cats?
Would your children be quite different too?
(They might be little brats…)

Would you work in different industry?
Hang out with different folk?
Would you go on different holidays
Be filthy rich or stony broke?

Who knows what life would be like
If we’d never met that day,
I’m glad I didn’t find out.
Do you feel the same way?

  2. A short poem that asks a big question. I’ve never met your Tom, but I’m guessing he’s rather pleased too.
Now I’ll spend the day thinking about the night I met my husband. πŸ™‚

So many decisions, so many branches in life’s path. But agonizing over making a decision stalls your life – decisions are crucial to progressing.
This was a great thought provoker!
