Vicarious Pleasure

When you smile,
I smile
And life is good.
I never used to know
You could
Catch happiness
From those who mean
The world to you
But now I’ve seen
That when your joy
Is pure and true
It’s my joy too
Because
I love you.

  3. Dear Pooky, what precious words these are. They fill my heart, my tear ducts, my being.
You say so much with so few words.
Don’t reply, spend those few minutes relaxing in the sun.
